Rear Wings

A wing is an inverted aerofoil held clear of the body, with air flowing over both surfaces. GT and swan neck designs across every vehicle we tool.

All marques

Grades this part is tooled in

  • Dry carbon

Prepreg, heat and pressure cured. Lightest and stiffest — the grade that matters most on a part carrying aero load.

  • Vacuum carbon

Gloss clear coat, the volume carbon grade.

  • FRP

Primed and paint-ready, for wings painted body color.

Five grades run through the same molds. Ask for the grade by name on the quote — it changes weight, finish on arrival and price band, not fitment.

Questions buyers ask

What is a swan neck wing?
A wing hung from mounts that come over the top of the aerofoil rather than up from underneath. The underside — where the low pressure that makes downforce lives — stays undisturbed. Porsche uses the arrangement on the GT3.
Boot-lid mount or chassis mount?
Chassis mount if the car sees track use, because the load goes into the structure instead of the boot lid and its hinges. Boot-lid mount is simpler to fit and adequate for road use.
Will a wing make my car faster?
Faster through corners, slower in a straight line. A wing trades drag for downforce. If the car is not driven where that trade pays off, a spoiler is the more sensible part.
Can I fit a wing and keep the factory spoiler?
Usually not — the factory spoiler occupies the trailing edge the wing mounts need. The kit states what has to be removed.
Is the wing supplied assembled?
The aerofoil and the uprights ship as a set with the fixings. Final assembly and height or angle setting is done at fitting.
