Aero by vehicle

Built around the car, not around a photo

Every vehicle is tooled from the vehicle's own body surface, then trial-fitted on a real car before the mold is cut.

Complete kits

One part number for every panel on the car

A complete kit is molded from the same body surface in one material grade, so the panel gaps match across the whole car — front lip, skirts, diffuser and wing come out of one order, not four.

Forged wheels

Monoblock and multi-piece, made to order

A separate product line from the aero kits — 6061 aerospace alloy, custom offsets and finishes, five-year warranty.

6061 aerospace aluminum, five-year warranty, and every wheel is load-, balance- and runout-tested before packing. Electroplating adds 5 days, carbon wrapping 10; wheels ship as a set of four and can be mixed into an aero order — no separate minimum.

How a wheel is made

  1. Forged aluminum wheel blanks racked at the CMST wheel plant
    01

    Forged blanks

6061 aerospace aluminum, forged before any metal is cut.

  2. Dimensioned engineering drawing of a CMST forged wheel profile
    02

    Drawing sign-off

The dimensioned drawing is signed off with the buyer before any metal is cut.

  3. A CMST wheel face being CNC machined under coolant
    03

    CNC machining

The face is machined from solid, not cast to shape.

  4. A mounted CMST wheel on the balance and runout test rig
    04

    Balance & runout

Every wheel is spun on the rig before it is packed.

Materials

Five grades, one fitment standard

Most parts are tooled in more than one grade — the same vehicle covers a show build and a volume order.

How a part is made

Every mold is trial-fitted before it is cut

Five stages, in-house. Note where step three sits — the master is trial-assembled on a real car before any tooling money is spent.

  1. Hand sketching aero panel lines on paper at CMST
    01

    SKETCH

Concept drawn by hand, then rendered in 2D for sign-off.

  2. CMST engineer modelling a kit in CAD on screen
    02

    3D MODEL

The part is built in CAD against the vehicle's body surface.

  3. A 3D-printed master kit assembled for trial fit at CMST
    03

    PRINT & TEST FIT

A 3D-printed master is trial-assembled on the actual car.

  4. CMST's mold storage racks, holding FRP and plastic tooling from past projects
    04

    MOLD CUT

The mold is cut from the finalized master — the first irreversible spend in the whole sequence.

  5. A technician wet-sanding a carbon fiber diffuser by hand on the finishing floor
    05

    PRODUCTION SAMPLE

A sample is run off the finished mold and checked against the written surface standard.

Hardware and fitting instructions are supplied with every kit. Installation videos are available for most vehicles.

Shipping & packaging

Large panels, packed to arrive intact

Aero panels are long, thin and easy to damage in transit — and in this trade packaging that looks like anyone else's invites copies. Every order ships in CMST-labeled packaging with a product label and a parts pack, so a shortage or a knock is obvious before the customer opens it, and so a distributor can prove what is genuine.

  • PACKAGING

CMST-branded export packaging with a product label and a parts pack — the distinctive packaging is itself part of proving what is genuine.

  • ON ARRIVAL

Dry and vacuum carbon arrive finished. FRP arrives primed and paint-ready. ABS and PP are molded in gloss or matte black — no paint step.

  • LEAD TIME

Standard orders 7–20 days. Forged wheels 15–25 days monoblock, 25–35 two-piece; electroplating adds five days, carbon wrapping ten. Peak season is flagged before the order is confirmed, never after.

  • MINIMUM ORDER

One piece. Orders can be mixed across vehicles and part categories and still ship as one order, on one quote and one lead time.
