Every mold starts from the car's own body surface. A 3D-printed sample is trial-fitted on a real vehicle before the mold is cut, and the first production part is fitted again before it ships.

- FRP
Glass fiber with resin primer. The default for bumper shells: primed, paint-ready, and tolerant of the flex a bumper sees.
- Vacuum carbon
Gloss clear coat, for conversions meant to show weave.
- PP
Injection molded, molded-in black, the most impact-tolerant grade — for OE-style parts that take knocks.
Five grades run through the same molds. Ask for the grade by name on the quote — it changes weight, finish on arrival and price band, not fitment.
Questions buyers ask
- Do my parking sensors and radar transfer over?
- Yes, on the vehicles where the kit includes the brackets. Confirm the sensor and radar layout for your exact trim on the enquiry — it varies between trims of the same model.
- Does the license plate holder come with it?
- On the kits that list it, yes. Several CMST kits carry the plate holder as its own line item because plate size and mounting differ by market.
- FRP or carbon for a bumper?
- FRP for most conversions. It arrives primed for body color and handles flex better than a thin carbon shell. Carbon grades are for bumpers meant to show weave.
- Can I keep the factory bumper and just add a lip?
- Yes — that is what the front lip category is for, and it is a much smaller job. A conversion is only necessary when the opening shape itself has to change.
- Is the fit verified before tooling?
- A 3D-printed sample is fitted to a real car of that vehicle before the mold is cut, and the first production bumper is fitted again before it ships.
